Riyadh, KSA | 09 September 2023: Under the Patronage of His Excellency Mr. Majid Abdullah Al-Hogail The Minister of Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing, The Saudi Contractors Authority and dmg events organize the Saudi Infrastructure Summit that will be co-located with Saudi Infrastructure Expo from 11 – 13 September 2023 at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center.
Saudi Arabia's ambitious plans to diversify its economy beyond oil and position itself as an investment and logistics hub have led to a trillion-dollar pipeline of infrastructure projects. Covering the full spectrum of the infrastructure industry, the Saudi Infrastructure Expo will convene local and international exhibitors for three days to showcase products and bring innovative solutions to transform the Kingdom's infrastructure landscape.
Saudi Infrastructure Expo is supported by Saudi Contractors Authority as the Contracting Sector Regulator. Commenting on its association with the event, Abdulmajid Al-Rashoudi, Governor of the Saudi Contractors Authority, said: “The Saudi Contractors Authority is dedicated to enhancing the Kingdom's contracting industry, fostering investment, and facilitating networking through numerous events and conferences. The Saudi Infrastructure Expo provides various opportunities for innovation and investment in the sector, as well as promote knowledge sharing, and partnership-building among contractors, stakeholders, and companies, bolstering the national economy's growth.”
Over 275 local and international companies representing 20 countries including the Kingdom present cutting-edge products & services and innovative solutions at the Saudi Infrastructure Expo. This year’s edition will host 8 country pavilions, namely Egypt, China, UAE, Qatar, Italy, Türkiye, Germany, and India.

Knowledge sharing at the core of Saudi Infrastructure Summit
At the invite-only Saudi Infrastructure Summit organized by dmg events with Saudi Contractors Authority (SCA), the welcome address will be delivered by Eng. Zakaria bin Abdulrahman Al-Abdulqader, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Saudi Contractors Authority. The summit and industry talks will present mind-expanding discussions featuring ministries, policy makers, industry leaders and subject matter experts.
The summit will feature a high-profile ministerial panel on driving a sustainable infrastructure for a better future and featuring H.E. Sultan bin Hussein Al Mashhour, Deputy Minister of Projects, Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs; H.E. Eng. Badr Abdullah Al-Dulami, Vice Minister, Ministry of Transport and Logistics Services; and H.E. Eng. Bassam Al-Bassam, Deputy Minister of Communication and Infrastructure, Ministry of Communications & Information Technology.
The summit will discuss the potential of Infrastructure 4.0 in driving a sustainable infrastructure for a better future; adopting smart investment decisions to support infrastructure development introducing Greg Djerejian, Group Head of Investments & Legal, Red Sea Global; unlocking potential through policy and regulatory frameworks to bridge infrastructure gaps, with a speaker lineup featuring Taha Alsafi, Work & Labor Standards Director, Saudi Contractors Authority (SCA); Eng. Saudi Infrastructure Expo will also host the free-to-attend Industry Talks sessions on Day 3 of the exhibition. It will provide attendees the opportunity to gain knowledge and practical insights on topics such as creating suitable smart city infrastructure model by leveraging smart technologies, adaption of BIM in the changing role of quantity surveying, metrology and measurement in Saudi Quality infrastructure, and others.
“The first-ever Saudi Infrastructure Summit took place during the inaugural Saudi Infrastructure Expo as a single-day event in 2022. However, this year's summit is set to be more extensive and engaging, running for two days, as Saudi Contractors Authority organizes it with dmg events, providing valuable support and guidance,” noted Kazi.
